  • 2+ years experience in refugee resettlement direct client services
  • Proven success achieving goals and working effectively with all levels of staff in a fast-paced, multi-cultural environment and ability to provide accountability to ensure objectives are met
  • Self-starter with excellent problem-solving skills combined with the proven ability to multi-task, prioritize duties, and manage time effectively
  • Demonstrated communication skills and ability to communicate with clarity over virtual platforms
  • Expertise with digital communication tools, such as Zoom, Teams, What’s App and other platforms
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
Responsibilities
  • Facilitate regular, re-occurring one-on-one staff supervision meetings with all direct reports reviewing housing needs, CO assessments, compliance standards, caseloads, progress, and other support
  • Lead team meetings to coordinate effective, holistic plans for upcoming arrivals
  • Establish goals, provide performance reviews and follow-up on individual goals
  • Problem solve with staff and provide regular updates to the Virtual R&P Manager
  • Achieve participant satisfaction and program outcomes for the R&P program through timely, high-quality services, including documentation of all services
  • Confirm casefile compliance as submitted by Case Specialists through regular and routine check-ins
  • Review client service systems and tools with direct reports, ensuring both understanding and consistent usage
  • Participate in department and Community of Practice calls
  • Provide remote, multi-faceted case management services to newly arrived clients in accordance with the Cooperative Agreement
  • Develop service plans and coordinate services with other service providers
  • Assist newly arrived clients to access to a range of eligible services and supports including medical care, education for children, and English for adults
  • Secure transportation for refugee clients to/from core appointments
  • Initiate remote referrals and ensure follow up and follow through of services
  • Ensure cultural orientation for newly arrived refugees
  • Assist clients in applying for and obtaining public benefits, including (but not limited to) Food Nutrition Service, Medicaid and Cash Assistance
  • Communicate regularly with service providers to ensure timely service delivery
  • Advocate on behalf of refugee families when necessary
  • Ensure timely communication with community volunteers and churches, when applicable, in coordination with broader support team
  • Attend all state, Home Office, and coalition meetings as appropriate
  • Other duties as assigned
