Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Mining Engineering with Project Management experience preferred
  • At least 2 years of experience in project management, preferably in the mining, industrial, or autonomous technology sectors
  • Understanding of autonomous systems, strong understanding of mining operations and Heavy Mobile Equipment (HME)
  • Excellent project management skills, including proficiency with tools like MS Project, Primavera, or similar software
  • Effective communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams
Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, outlining timelines, budgets, milestones and resource requirements
  • Coordinate across multiple teams to ensure smooth integration of autonomous systems into existing operations
  • Manage the delivery of projects on time, within scope, and within budget
  • Act as the primary liaison between internal stakeholders (operations, engineering, IT, and safety teams) and external partners (vendors, technology providers, and contractors)
  • Ensure clear communication of project goals, progress, and requirements to all stakeholders
  • Drive alignment among diverse stakeholders to achieve project objectives
  • Oversee the implementation of autonomous haulage systems (AHS) and other mobile equipment, including installation (Hardware and Software), testing, and commissioning
  • Work with technical teams to configure and calibrate autonomous equipment for optimal performance
  • Ensure all systems meet operational requirements, including safety, reliability, and efficiency standards
  • Integrate safety protocols and compliance standards into all aspects of the project
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and operational guidelines for autonomous systems in mining environments
  • Promote a culture of safety throughout the project lifecycle
Desired Qualifications
  • Quarry Operations experience with significant Heavy Mobile Equipment experience and a successful track record in Load and Haul operations is advantageous
  • Experience in large-scale technology rollouts in challenging environments is advantageous
  • Understanding of the use and application Quarry Development Plans is ideal
  • Familiarity with mining operations, autonomous mobile equipment, or related industries is highly desirable
