Requirements
  • Proven experience in delivering large-scale projects or capital expenditure programs.
  • Strong relationship management skills, with the ability to build lasting connections with clients and contractors.
  • High-level financial acumen for budgeting, forecasting, and contract management.
  • Experience in OHS management on construction sites, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and MS Project.
  • Leadership skills to manage a diverse team of professionals and subcontractors effectively.
  • Essential: Certificate IV in Occupational Health and Safety or extensive project management experience.
  • Current General Induction for the Construction Industry (White Card).
  • Graduate Diploma in Project Management or relevant trade qualification (e.g., carpentry, electrical, HVAC).
  • Bachelor’s degree in construction, Project Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Eligibility: Applicants must have full working rights in Australia, with either Australian citizenship or permanent residency.
Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the NSW Projects team to deliver successful projects, ensuring time, quality, and budget compliance.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication and client satisfaction.
  • Oversee OHS compliance, ensuring safety standards are met across all sites.
  • Manage project risks and proactively resolve issues to ensure smooth delivery.
  • Drive high standards of governance, using BGIS services and business systems effectively.
Desired Qualifications
  • Postgraduate qualifications in Building Systems, Project Management, or Business Management.
  • NABERS or Green Star accreditation.
  • Membership with AIPM, AIA, IEAust, or AIQS.
