Requirements
- Lead and reviewing the regional and channel level quarterly business forecasts at a granular level sufficient for the DCs to plan resources and capacity; analyse said forecasts and identifying opportunities to improve future forecasting
- Identify risks and opportunities in D&T's ability to deliver to plan and the business' ability to provide appropriate forecasts to deliver to target
- Challenge D&T capacities and service level agreements (SLAs) when there are apparent gaps and work with all parties to align on actions
- Develop and track KPIs and metrics to understand and share performance to optimize delivery, service levels and cost across diverse regions, channels and markets
- Lead a portion of the monthly S&OP Supply review that focuses on D&T and Supply Chain delivery to hit brand and channel specific revenue and profit goals
- Collaborate with Operations and Commercial teams to optimize shipping methods to maintain service levels while minimizing cost
- Utilize critical thinking based on the deep understand of the business and channel specific needs to sufficiently able to make judgement calls on data and adjust to ensure performance is achieved
- Lead the prioritization of inbound and outbound volumes with all distribution centers to support customer requirements by channel, especially during peak, "pull forward" activates and other promotional volume variations by channel
- Ensure all inbound shipment dates are updated to reflect actual arrival dates on a daily basis with a 99% accuracy level and that all inbound shipments have an IBD created prior to the shipment arriving at the DC
- Maintain all open purchase order reporting so all PO's are current
- Partner with Allocations, Ecommerce and Brand Marketing, and Retail Operations teams on company promotions and initiatives to ensure our ability to deliver
- Work with Financial Planning & Analysis on impacts of various service level scenarios to financial results and provide recommendations for adoption
- Ensure that up to date costs and cost forecasts for inbound and outbound freight are visible for financial planning and for costing purposes
- Develop and maintain a transportation roadmap that supports our DTC growth and service needs across US, Canada and EMEA
- Lead regular ops calls with APAC regions and making sure that all SLA's are being met
- Influencing process improvement and training activities at DCs to ensure all internal and external customers' requirements are met in a timely and efficient manner
- You have 8+ years' experience in supply chain, distribution centre management or logistics, including inventory management, order fulfilment, process innovation and SOP creation with at least 3+ years in a leadership role
- You have a Bachelor's degree, preferably in Finance, Math, Statistics, Business, Engineering or Computer Science
- You have advanced analytical skills with superior aptitude for data manipulation (designing, building and maintaining files in Microsoft Excel/Access and SQL)
- You have excellent interpersonal skills
- You have strong organizational skills with a proven ability to handle multiple priorities and manage projects to a timely conclusion
- You have excellent communication and business presentation skills, both verbally and written
- You have strong financial acumen, including understanding of profit & loss with ability to interpret data and understand the financial impact
- You have experience with SAP
- You have advanced Excel skills
Responsibilities
- Identify, propose and drive process improvement initiatives within Operations and Supply Chain
- Provide SAP training to current and future SAP users at Arc'teryx
- Lead strong collaboration between the business and D&T so that each channel and region's business has been optimally and consistently supported by a best in class operation
- Project manage brand-driven process changes with DC leaders and managing the communication between DC Ops teams and internal stakeholders (i.e. Supply Chain and Commercial teams)
- Ensure the needs of the business are fully recognized and supported by our external D&T partners
