The Role 

As a Technical Architect, you will be at the forefront of technology modernization, blending strategy with hands-on development. Working alongside Product Management and domain experts, you’ll design and deliver scalable solutions that directly impact our clients. You’ll balance leadership and technical contributions, guiding engineers while writing code, troubleshooting, and creating cutting-edge solutions.   

This hybrid role requires a minimum of two to three days per week in the office, giving you the flexibility to collaborate and innovate effectively.   

What You’ll Do 

Lead and Code: Collaborate with teams of talented engineers, guiding architecture decisions while contributing directly to the codebase.  
Architect Solutions: Translate business requirements into system specifications, propose high-impact design changes, and develop enterprise-grade backend applications.  
Innovate and Optimize: Drive modern architectural practices like 12-factor app design, cloud-native development, and event-based systems.  
Troubleshoot Complex Issues: Use your expertise to diagnose and resolve challenging technical problems.   
Collaborate with Leadership: Partner with the Chief Architect and cross-functional teams to shape our modernization strategy and execute it with excellence.   
Deliver Impactful Results: Work in a fast-paced, agile environment, delivering solutions that scale and perform.  

What We’re Looking For 

Hands-On Problem Solver: You’re comfortable rolling up your sleeves to debug, code, and deliver solutions.  
Tech Enthusiast: Passionate about staying ahead of tech trends, experimenting, and learning.  
Effective Communicator: Skilled at explaining complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.  
SaaS Mindset: Focused on scalability, reliability, and delivering exceptional user experiences.  

Your Experience 

7+ years in:   

• Designing and coding scalable, high-performance solutions.   
• Leading technical teams in distributed systems and full-stack development.   
• Building secure, cloud-native applications with technologies like Java, Spring (Spring Boot and Spring Batch) React, GraphQL, and Kafka.   
• Database design and optimization with PostgreSQL and NoSQL solutions.   

Expertise in:   

• Cloud platforms (preferably Azure) with cost-efficient design principles.   
• Event-driven architectures and stream processing.   
• 12-factor app design and headless architectures.   

Nice-to-have:   

• 3+ years in a product-focused environment.   
• Experience with release automation and management including GitOps, CI/CD automation with Kustomize overlays and ArgoCD.
