Requirements
  • Ability to provide 24-hour supervision and ensure the safety of minors participating in the program.
  • Ability to identify and respond to issues involving participant interactions, behavior, mental health, and acclimation to the program environment.
  • Ability to act quickly and calmly, use sound judgment, handle sensitive issues or information, address behavior issues, and follow required notification protocols.
  • Ability to complete the required Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Background Check, Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance Form, and Federal Bureau of Investigation Fingerprint Criminal Background Check.
Responsibilities
  • Supervise the safety and whereabouts of minors participating in the program at all times, including during non-instructional hours.
  • Manage daily program administration, including youth compliance policies and procedures, emergency response, communication with the Program Director and Program Manager, medication collection, storage and verification, and oversight of participant health information.
  • Assist with developing instructional content and deliver lessons and activities when needed.
