The Better Money Company builds tools and systems that let businesses own and control their payments flow using stablecoins. Its products provide the infrastructure and interfaces needed to integrate stablecoins into a company’s operations, enabling payment processing, settlement, and wallet management without outsourcing critical parts of the payments stack. This focus on giving businesses ownership and control over their payments differentiates it from providers that offer fully managed, opaque wallets or third-party payment rails. The company’s goal is to help businesses operate more efficiently and build better products by using stablecoins as the backbone of their payments ecosystem.

The Better Money Company has selected BitGo's Crypto-as-a-Service to power its stablecoin clearinghouse. BitGo, an OCC-regulated digital asset trust bank, will provide compliant issuer onboarding and qualified custody wallet infrastructure for TBMC's multi-issuer, multi-stablecoin clearing platform. TBMC is building a neutral clearing platform to address fragmentation in the stablecoin market, enabling businesses to move across different stablecoins with greater efficiency and interoperability. The platform aims to serve payment companies, fintechs and banks by establishing direct relationships with issuers and banking partners. BitGo's API-driven infrastructure will eliminate the need for TBMC to build digital asset custody capabilities in-house, allowing the company to focus on platform development whilst relying on BitGo's regulated custody infrastructure.
