Requirements
  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in healthcare management, Business Administration, Informatics, Community Health, Analytics, STEM, or a related degree. Higher degrees will be considered.
  • Graduation date between December 2025 and June 2026
  • A minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0
  • Availability to work 10 weeks during the summer
  • Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States (currently, we are not offering this program under OPT or CPT and are not sponsoring work visas for this role)
Responsibilities
  • Actively participating in an internship program that leverages skills, knowledge, and capabilities while exposing to different methodologies and tools needed to service the provider community.
  • Researching and resolving traditional and atypical provider inquiries arising from contract operations, system, data entry claims payment, and directory issues.
  • Working closely with cross-functional teams in both business and technical areas.
  • Communicating with internal stakeholders such as Government Program, Network, Quality, Risk Adjustment, and others regarding health data acquisition needs and reporting.
  • Performing additional project support, administrative tasks, and ad hoc requests to support business needs.
  • Complying with HIPAA, Diversity Principles, Corporate Integrity, Compliance Program policies and other applicable corporate and departmental policies.
  • Maintaining complete confidentiality of company business.
  • Maintaining communication with management regarding development within areas of assigned responsibilities and performing special projects as required or requested.
  • Creating a final internship PowerPoint presentation to share with department leadership covering the internship experience, the assigned project over the course of the summer, including the results along with any solutions or recommendations that can be leveraged by the department in the future.

  • Strong analytical and organization skills with interest in the healthcare and data space.
  • Practical, developed PC skills, especially Excel, Word, and Access
