Requirements
  • Significant experience as an assistant store manager or assistant manager, ideally in clothing retail.
  • Proficiency in commercial analyses, product knowledge, and knowledge of the fashion sector.
  • Customer- and business-oriented approach with strong retail and customer-service focus.
  • Mastery of management techniques.
  • Ability to work primarily on the sales floor with the team and customers.
Responsibilities
  • Assist the store manager with the overall management of the store.
  • Ensure conditions are in place to maximize revenue, customer shopping experience, and the image of the sales floor.
  • Analyze self-service sales and individual sales achieved by sales advisers, and implement action plans aligned with objectives.
  • Analyze merchandising profitability and implement appropriate action plans for product rotation, replenishment, and stock management.
  • Lead and motivate the team while maintaining a positive, energetic, and supportive work environment.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, training, development, and identification of potential among the entire team.

Mango Secures $3M to Solve Construction Cash Flow

Mexican fintech Mango has secured a $3m funding round led by Ironspring Ventures to address cash flow issues in Latin America's construction industry. The funding will help Mango expand its credit and payments infrastructure, grow its contractor and supplier network, and enhance its internal teams. BBVA Spark also provided a credit facility. Mango's platform offers embedded credit and real-time risk intelligence to streamline procurement workflows and mitigate payment delays in construction.
