Requirements
  • Five to seven years of solid electrical experience within the Commercial and/or Industrial sector.
  • Adept and skilled in troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems.
  • Strong understanding of safety procedures, regulatory codes, blueprints, and technical diagrams.
  • Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, testing devices, and diagnostic equipment.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and work indoors/outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Between five to seven years of practical experience or a combination of practical experience and classroom instruction, vocational/trade school, or an apprenticeship such as IEC.
  • Experience in wire pulling.
  • Knowledge of basic voltage colors and panel numbering.
  • Conduit bending ability to install, bend, and run over 100 feet of conduit per day.
Responsibilities
  • Installs, repairs, and performs maintenance on Commercial and Industrial electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures.
  • Wiring, lighting installations, and upgrading electrical infrastructure.
  • Utilize own analytical skills to review drawings on work orders and mount electrical equipment to mirror drawings.
  • Must be able to mount electrical equipment precisely to mirror drawings and blueprints.
  • Proficient in mounting electrical equipment and interpreting work orders to ensure proper installation.
  • Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, testing devices, and diagnostic equipment.
  • Contains strong problem-solving skills, clear communication about tasks, and meticulousness to prevent errors while maintaining safety.
  • Must operate in various conditions including indoors, outdoors, and changing weather conditions.
  • Must be capable of lifting 50 pounds.
