  • Bachelor’s Degree and 3 years’ experience, (or 7 years’ experience in with High School Diploma/GED) supporting configuration management in a US Department of Defense environment; 1 year experience with Master’s Degree is also accepted
  • Able to work in a fast-paced production environment with ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication, business analytical and problem-solving/trouble shooting skills.
  • Effective Customer Service skills/capabilities with a demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally inside and outside the organization.
  • Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office products including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Demonstrated experience with Microsoft SharePoint including uploading documents, revising metadata, starting/monitoring workflows
  • Ability to obtain a secret security clearance
Responsibilities
  • Responsible for configuration management of technical data, and documents related to the design, modification, production or sustainment of complex embedded defense related software systems.
  • Includes configuration management planning, process control, and execution using the designated configuration management tool to ensure baselines are maintained and reproducible.
  • Schedule and manage Configuration Control Board activities and will be responsible for configuration identification, configuration audits, and controlling the CM process to ensure only valid and approved updates are incorporated into product baselines and other technical documentation.
  • Responsible for maintaining, updating, and improving Configuration Management processes and procedures.
  • May also be tasked with other engineering support activities within the document management, and DMSMS areas under Support Engineering.
