Dialysis RN Floor Leadership Opportunity

What does the Charge Nurse role entail?

• Team Leader - Clinical Coordinator acts as Charge Nurse on the floor and thrives within a team environment

• Full Time - Rotating base schedule 3 days and a minimum of 30 hours a week

• Comfortable working some weekends based on team needs

• Starting and ending times can range from 4:00 am to 6:00 pm

• Average hours range from 12 to 14 hours a day

• Involved with new teammate training and clinic shift scheduling

What does a successful RN look like?

• Minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience with 6 months in a Nursing Dialysis position

• ADN / BSN / Diploma in Nursing with an active current RN license in Michigan

• Dialysis Charge RN readiness approval by a Clinical Nurse Manager or RN-licensed FA/GFA required

• Certified Nephrology Nurse (CNN) or Certified Dialysis Nurse (CDN) preferred

• Coordinate ESRD patient care and services (trend lab values, track metrics on vital signs, weight, outcome management, etc.)

• Ensure you and your clinical team are delivering the highest level of care to our patients by ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being.

• Oversee a group of up to 16 patients with the support of up to 4 PCTs to conduct patient observations, measuring stats, and machine setup.

• Be a part of a team that supports and relies on each other in a positive environment.

• Staff RNs are a central part of a small interdisciplinary team of clinicians.
