What You’ll Get to Do:

CACI is looking for an undergraduate student to join our summer 2023 internship program! This internship position will offer you and opportunity to work with other Interns as well as CACI employs to better understand the role of a cybersecurity engineer supporting a government contract.

More About the Role:
This will be a group project with the typical group presentation at the end of the internship.  The interns will be working on a lab project with Azure and VMWare doing a series of tasks to build (automate), secure (compliance), audit (RMF), and enhance (SecDevOps Lifecycle) something in the cloud that we haven’t fully solidified yet.  They will learn new skills with: Azure, VMWare, Powershell, Bash, Windows, Linux, and 3rd party security tools.  The CACI leadership, and management, teams will facilitate the learning process but success will require self-discipline and motivation to learn new skills and overcome difficult challenges.  Towards the end of the project, the intern team will provide a presentation to Senior CACI Leadership.  During this process the team will be coached on different presentation approaches and communication styles simulating real world proposal activities and time constraints.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

• Must currently be enrolled in High School OR a full-time Undergraduate, Graduate, or Doctorate Student
• Experience with Python
• Fluent with Microsoft Suite
• Must be able to obtain and maintain applicable clearance
• Familiar with security-related technologies and auditing tools

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

• If Undergraduate, pursing a degree in Computer Science or Cyber Security is preferred, not required
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred, not required
• Previous internship/co-op or other work experience, leadership and teamwork capabilities, interpersonal communication skills, and activities

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, geographic location, education, and certifications.
