  • Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience with product and/or industry expertise
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time throughout the year
  • Previous technical experience working with Genset controllers, Electrical System Architecture, Synchronization and Paralleling schemes, Control and Protection in Power System, etc.
  • Multidisciplinary skills (Business Development, Sales & Marketing, Technical Sales)
  • Significant account management experience and/or commercial experience within the company and/or was a fully contributing member on significant projects and/or teams
  • Excellent analytical and computer skills
Responsibilities
  • Response to dealer technical inquiries on Electric Power products ranging from very basic to extremely complex
  • Consultation with both the dealer & sales organizations on product offerings and how to best apply them
  • Feedback to engineering and product definition teams in order to drive and improve future product development
  • Act as a liaison to a specific sales region to better understand the needs of that market
  • Identification & delivery of product application training along with creating independent materials and white papers
  • Understand of Tender specifications and communicating them with engineering teams and helping to produce submittal documents
  • Act as a consultant to various departments within Caterpillar regarding the direction and strategies that key industry leaders will be adopting in the future
  • Must communicate effectively across product, industry, dealer and/or customer audiences
  • Manages the compliance of their own assignments and keeps up to date with new industry trends, changing technology and regulations
  • Have knowledge of electrical and mechanical Interfaces between Genset and Customer equipment at site
  • Make regular visits to job locations, foreign and domestic, to provide advice and counsel to potential customers
  • Must have ability to work with people from many different backgrounds and cultures
  • Possess good verbal and written Communication skills including seeking approval/seeking consensus
Desired Qualifications
  • Previous field technical or sales experience working with Customers/Dealers/Distributors
  • Familiarity with various Caterpillar systems (TMI, EOMP, CSQ, EDDC and other technical, drawing and operations system)
  • Knowledge of advanced Excel programming
  • Familiarity with business Intelligence Tools to visualize and analyse data like MS PowerBi

IRVING, Texas, June 11, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- The Board of Directors of Caterpillar Inc. (NYSE: CAT) voted today to raise the quarterly dividend by 10 cents, a seven percent increase, to one dollar and fifty-one cents ($1.51) per share of common stock, payable Aug. 20 to shareholders of record at close of business July 21. Caterpillar expects to continue to return substantially all Machinery, Energy & Transportation (ME&T) free cash flow to shareholders over time through dividends and share repurchases."Continued delivery on our enterprise strategy for long-term profitable growth, combined with strong operating performance, has led to robust ME&T free cash flow," said Caterpillar CEO Joe Creed.
