  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in relevant field
  • Previous experience working in accreditation, compliance, or quality assurance within a higher education setting. Experience in teacher education preferred.
  • Knowledge of accreditation standards, regulations, and best practices in higher education, teacher education, and teacher certification.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in coordinating all activities related to institutional accreditation processes
  • Collaborate with faculty, staff, and administrators across departments to ensure compliance with accreditation standards
  • Monitor changes in accreditation requirements and communicate updates to stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of federal, state, and local regulations governing higher education
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of federal, state, and local regulations governing teacher certification and education preparation providers
  • Assist in developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure institutional compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and standards
  • Conduct periodic compliance audits and assessments to identify areas of non-compliance and recommend corrective actions
  • Serve as a resource for faculty and staff on compliance-related inquiries and provide training
  • Support the Accreditation Manager in the design, implementation, and evaluation of institutional effectiveness initiatives
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to establish measurable quality assurance goals and benchmarks
  • Assist in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to assess institutional performance and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Participate in the development and implementation of institutional assessment plans and processes
  • Foster effective communication and collaboration among academic departments, administrative units, and external stakeholders to support accreditation, compliance, and quality assurance efforts
  • Serve as a liaison between the accreditation team and other institutional stakeholders to ensure alignment of goals and objectives
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and other materials for senior leadership, accreditation bodies, and regulatory agencies as needed
