Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain highly available, scalable, and secure infrastructure for our proof-of-stake validators, Bitcoin mining support, and custody solutions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement improvements in infrastructure, monitoring, and incident response
Implement monitoring and observability tools to ensure the health, performance, and stability of our blockchain infrastructure
Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to streamline deployment, scaling, and recovery processes
Assist the Bitcoin mining team with the setup and management of cloud components, VMWare, and other virtualization technologies
Implement and maintain security best practices across all aspects of our infrastructure, including access controls, encryption, and network security
Participate in on-call rotations to ensure the continued reliability and uptime of our services
Continuously research and stay up-to-date with emerging trends in the web3/blockchain space

Desired Qualifications

Experience with digital asset custody solutions and security best practices
Familiarity with Ethereum, Cosmos based blockchains, and/or other web3/blockchain ecosystems

Who You Are:

As an SRE/DevOps Engineer (Web3/Blockchain) at Galaxy, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our blockchain infrastructure. You will work closely with our proof-of-stake validators, Bitcoin mining support team, and digital asset custody solutions team, to maintain and enhance our cutting-edge technology stack. Your expertise in cloud infrastructure, monitoring, and observability will be invaluable in driving the success of our business.

What You’ll Do:

Design, build, and maintain highly available, scalable, and secure infrastructure for our proof-of-stake validators, Bitcoin mining support, and custody solutions
