Salary Range: 170000 to 201600 (Currency: USD) (Pay period: per-year-salary)
JITX is transforming hardware design by letting electrical engineers write code to design electronics. This new way of design captures expert hardware engineering knowledge and makes it reusable, and scalable like software. Our vision at JITX is to automate hardware design for the benefit of science and the welfare of humanity. Dedicated to solving difficult problems with huge impact, our first step is to automate circuit board design.
At JITX you’ll be working with the CEO to help the company grow faster. We’re looking for heavy emphasis on business operations, with enough technical background and ability to learn our product in detail. Primary focus will be on go-to-market strategy and execution, to commercialize a high value product for SMB and enterprise customers.
Summary of responsibilities and qualifications
- Genuine excitement in our mission and about what we are doing. Knowing the capabilities of JITX, how it can be applied to a customer workflow, what problems it solves, what value it creates, and for who.
- Experience working B2B technical sales in early stage startups, being the first go to market hire, figuring out what problems to solve, and driving the solution yourself while working with a collaborative team for implementation.
- Background in finance for startups, and experience developing strategies including growth rates, deal volume and size, and resource allocation.
- Learn in depth the dynamics of the electrical engineering ecosystem, about designers, how they collaborate, how they mitigate risk, their supply chain, the network effects with chip companies, and the circuit board fabs.
- Develop and implement a start to finish strategic growth engine including sales methodology, from inbound marketing strategy, through pipeline creation and curation, through deal close.
- Run early sales yourself. Although this is not a commission based role, we need you to run the pipeline and close leads yourself early on, before account executives join after the process is developed.
- Business operator background ideally paired with electrical engineering, specifically with Printed Circuit Boards. Experience in early stage startups for strategic planning, go-to-market execution, and customer discovery
- This role is anticipated to be an individual contributor working in a highly collaborative team.
- Preference to local Bay Area candidates will be given. This candidate will be expected to be local (or relocated from another state within the USA).
Selection Process
- Talent vetting with the Head of People and Talent. 45-minute phone interview with an emphasis on early-stage customer acquisition.
- CEO Interview to include alignment with company mission and reaching immediate goals.
- Skills Based Interview evaluating collaboration and partnership in go-to-market strategies and customer acquisition.
- Practical assessment with an investor. Showcase go-to-market strategy for a product launch (hypothetical or based on past experience).
