The CDC Foundation is seeking a Business Process Analyst I who will work with the The Bureau of Behavioral Health, Wellness, and Prevention in the State of Nevada. The individual will serve as the data coordinator for the SOR Unit in order to ensure timely data collection to support programming and funding efforts; develop requirements by participating in agency program planning; determining business function and end-user requirements through consultation with end-users, technicians, vendors, management and others. The BPA I will be responsible for technical assistance related to the collection of SOR Client-Level Data using the GPRA as well as the SOR program instrument for data collection.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in public administration, management information systems or other related disciplines
- Two years of professional experience in a related program area analyzing and interpreting program law, regulations, policies and procedures, one year of experience applying recognized data processing concepts to business process planning and analyses
- OR an equivalent combination of education and experience as described above
- OR one year of experience as a Business Process Analyst I in the Nevada State service
- A state driver’s license is required, with appropriate insurance coverage and reliable vehicle, to perform the essential duties of the position.
Responsibilities
- Serve a subject matter expert on the use of GPRA and SPARS;
- Collect, and analyze public health data;
- Coordinate and assist with the collection of GPRA data
- Work with computer programming staff to test and implement computer system changes;
- Communicate and partner with wide array of stakeholders to enhance SOR.

- This position is located in Carson City and will be working part time in the office part time telecommuting for the foreseeable future. CDC Foundation retains the right to make adjustments to this as required.
- This position requires the operation of a motor vehicle as a component of the job responsibilities and duties.
