Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree
  • One year experience in administrative staff work in which program coordination in a directly related field was a primary responsibility
  • Additional related experience and formal education may be substituted for the education or experience requirement on a year-for-year basis with 30 college credits being equivalent to one year of experience.
Responsibilities
  • Using professional judgment to respond to internal and external customer inquiries and concerns through e-mail, telephone, and other correspondence
  • Organizing and maintaining the appointment schedules for the academic advising staff using online scheduling software
  • Assisting with confidential and sensitive student record activities, undergraduate commencement ceremonies, and membership/record maintenance for the student group Sigma Tau Delta
  • Assisting the Director of English Honors with tracking student progress and course permissions
  • Selecting, training, and supervising up to three student employees
  • Assisting with all aspects of the Learning Outcomes Assessment process
  • Maintaining student listservs, creating and posting flyers for events of interest to students, and compiling a weekly undergraduate student e-newsletter
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience working in a higher education setting
  • Familiarity with Acuity Scheduling, Mailchimp, and Microsoft Excel strongly preferred
