- Interact with nursing personnel at all levels and other departments to ensure effective utilization of resources that meet patients' and families' physiological, safety, spiritual, and psychosocial needs according to the New York State Nurse Practice Act, established Calvary Hospital standards of care, and Geriatric Standards of Care.
- Participate in the ongoing, systematic monitoring and evaluation of patient care.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support certification is optional.
- A Master's degree in Nursing is preferred.
Calvary Hospital provides palliative and hospice care for terminally ill adults, including those with advanced cancer, with inpatient facilities in the Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan and Queens and Home Care and Hospice Services across the greater New York area. Care comes from multidisciplinary teams that offer round-the-clock symptom relief, comfort, and emotional and spiritual support in hospitals and extend that care into patients’ homes through Home Care and Hospice services.
