Requirements
  • Enrolled in the Graduate Program in the Department of Biochemistry or within McGill University.
  • Qualified candidate must have received final grade “A” in BIOC 450.
  • Authorized to work in Canada and willing to work in the province of Quebec at the campus where the position is based / located.
  • To be eligible for an appointment as a Teaching Assistant for Fall 2026 term, applicants must be enrolled in a McGill graduate program in Fall 2026 term.
  • Effective communication skills in English are essential.
Responsibilities
  • Be present at lectures personally and help students, answer questions.
  • Aid students via myCourses.
  • Be available to answer e-mail inquiries or direct questions. Hours flexible.
  • Provide a review session upon completion of each course section.
  • Help grading questions throughout the semester as discussed with course coordinators and instructors.
  • Possibility of grading exams.
Desired Qualifications
  • French language skills are an asset.
