Requirements
  • A BAC+5 degree, ideally in the digital field, is required.
  • Approximately five years of confirmed experience in monitoring, observability, operations, or high-stakes production environments is required.
  • Solid knowledge of metric-monitoring tools such as Centreon, Nagios, Prometheus, Grafana, or Zabbix is required.
  • Knowledge of end-to-end observability tools such as Datadog, Dynatrace, Elastic, the Grafana stack, or application performance monitoring tools is required.
  • Ability to implement and maintain relevant alerting mechanisms, including alert quality, noise reduction, and correlation, is required.
  • Experience with Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code tools is required.
  • Experience with Ansible and automation through application programming interfaces is required.
  • Scripting experience with Shell or PowerShell and a language such as Python or Perl is required.
  • Experience with GitLab CI or an equivalent continuous integration and continuous delivery tool is required.
  • Experience with Linux, specifically Red Hat Enterprise Linux, and Windows Server is required.
  • Experience with VMware or Nutanix virtualization is required.
  • Experience with Kubernetes and Helm is required.
  • Cloud knowledge in Amazon Web Services or Microsoft Azure is required.
  • The role requires participation in on-call rotations.
Responsibilities
  • Provide Level 3 support by analyzing and resolving complex incidents, addressing recurring problems, and driving continuous improvement.
  • Perform version upgrades, manage obsolescence, and contribute to security through patching, hardening, and compliance activities.
  • Design and execute testing and regression-testing campaigns.
  • Ensure the availability, performance, and scalability of the observability platform.
  • Extend and maintain observability across virtualization, operating systems, and Kubernetes environments, as well as security and access components including backup, high availability, bastions, certificates, and application programming interfaces.
  • Implement and evolve metric collection, correlation, and alerting mechanisms using monitoring and observability tools.
  • Develop and maintain collectors, plugins, probes, and application programming interface integrations to industrialize and extend the monitored scope.
  • Industrialize deployments and configurations through Infrastructure as Code and automation using Terraform, Ansible, scripts, and application programming interfaces.
  • Establish reusable standards and components to accelerate onboarding, standardize dashboards and alerts, and reduce manual actions.
  • Contribute to documentation, onboarding guides, and improvements to the user experience.
