Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Five years of experience in vendor management or a related field is preferred.
  • Knowledge and understanding of material setup and management within an inventory management system, preferably SAP, is required.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook, is required, along with knowledge of SAP.
  • The ability to provide timely customer solutions is required.
Responsibilities
  • Determine appropriate vendors for sourcing parts and materials, create and maintain supporting documentation, and establish selling prices based on vendor purchase pricing.
  • Create and maintain part numbers, ensure accurate bill of materials alignment to final product requirements, and create product orders for stock kits.
  • Monitor and maintain goods receipts against inventory reports for finance, resolve discrepancies, and correct material invoicing or receiving errors.
  • Create non-inventory purchase orders, manage transfers between facilities, and adjust material inventory levels to support operations.
  • Manage parts in the SAP inventory management system by creating, updating, and removing items; partner with receiving to resolve inbound material issues and coordinate vendor replacements or credits.
