Requirements
  • At least 5 years of related experience with large-scale commercial, design-build, or multifamily construction project operations.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word is a plus.
  • Ability to read, understand, and interpret contract documents, including drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and the project schedule.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
Responsibilities
  • Oversee and supervise all field crew members, including foremen, carpenters, and laborers, as well as project operations.
  • Develop a project site logistics plan and work with the project manager to determine construction methods and sequencing.
  • Plan, direct, coordinate, and budget construction activities.
  • Develop and maintain working relationships with the owner, subcontractors, and vendors.
  • Communicate and promote a safe working environment and company safety standards.
  • Read plans and apply knowledge of OSHA regulations and various Department of Transportation specifications and standards.
  • Assist project engineers with the shop drawing and submittal process.
  • Confer with supervisory and engineering personnel, inspectors, and suppliers of tools and materials to resolve construction problems and improve construction methods.
  • Schedule subcontractors according to the required work schedule, coordinate pump trucks and material deliveries, and inspect and verify the receipt or shipment of materials.
  • Assist the Estimating Department with bidding opportunities and preconstruction services.
  • Complete an assessment for selection and a pre-employment drug screen.

  • OSHA 30-hour Card.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.

Breaking ground on another industrial project with Mapletree in Joliet. Keeley Construction recently celebrated the groundbreaking of a new 419,520-square-foot industrial facility at 1851 Brandon Road in Joliet, Illinois. The ceremony brought together representatives from Mapletree, Rider Levett Bucknall (RLB), Architects Plus Design Studio, CAGE, and the Keeley Construction team to mark the beginning of another collaborative project. This development marks Keeley's second project with Mapletree in Joliet. Together, the two industrial facilities represent more than 731,800 square feet currently under construction, highlighting the continued strength of the partnership and Keeley's growing presence in the region's industrial market.
