Requirements
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the bar.
  • At least 5 years of relevant legal experience, with at least 3 years antitrust experience, preferably in a corporate or law firm environment.
  • Experience implementing antitrust compliance policies and training programs.
  • Interest in handling commercial contracts and negotiations.

Responsibilities
  • Provide legal advice on antitrust matters, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and commercial partnerships.
  • Conduct antitrust risk assessments and support antitrust compliance programs.
  • Represent the company in antitrust investigations and coordinate with external counsel as needed.
  • Monitor and analyze changes in antitrust laws and regulations, both in and outside the United States, and advise on their implications for the company.
  • Create training materials and conduct antitrust training for Dow Jones legal and business partners.
  • Work with Dow Jones' experienced commercial legal team to develop skills in drafting, reviewing and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts, including vendor agreements, service contracts, and partnership agreements.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure contracts meet business needs and legal requirements.
  • Provide legal guidance on contract-related matters and support contract lifecycle management.
