Position Description:
The University of Louisville Department of Engineering Fundamentals invites applications for Part-Time Lecturer (PTL) teaching positions for in-person courses that are part of the new Applied Engineering degree offered by the J.B. Speed School of Engineering. Course offerings will begin in the fall of 2025 in Elizabethtown Kentucky on the Elizabethtown Community and Technical College (ECTC) campus. Courses include a range of topics from precalculus and calculus, to programming, engineering design, circuits, engineering graphics, solid modeling and teamwork.
Engineering Fundamentals encourages candidates to apply who enjoy being part of an instructional team that collaborates and coordinates instruction across classes and courses. Candidates should embrace using technology and active learning to provide engaging learning experiences for students. Regular communication with the course coordinator during the semester is expected.
Qualifications
Candidates must hold a Doctorate or Master's degree in a STEM discipline.
