Requirements
  • 7 years of experience as a Sr Principal Cyber Software Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university. - 4 additional years of experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity with no degree can also be accepted.
  • A current and active TS/SCI Clearance with Polygraph with latest Poly update being less than 10 years old is required.
  • Strong Java background
  • An ability to develop, maintain, and enhance complex and diverse software systems.
  • This position requires past experience in Java Software Development.
Responsibilities
  • develop, maintain, and enhance complex and diverse software systems (e.g. processing-intensive analytics, novel algorithm development, manipulation of extremely large data sets, real-time systems, and business management information systems) based upon documented requirements.
  • responsible for working individually or as part of a team to review and test software components for adherence to the design requirements and documents test results.
  • resolve software problem reports, utilizes software development and software design methodologies appropriate to the development environment.
  • creating specific input to the software components of system design to include hardware/software tradeoffs, software reuse, use of Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS)/ Government Off-the Shelf (GOTS) in place of new development, and requirements analysis and synthesis from system level to individual software components.
