Responsibilities
  • Manage the employee onboarding experience for Datacenter employees ensuring xAI’s preparedness and each new-hire’s ease and efficiency to start work.
  • Administer xAI’s I-9 and E-Verify processes.
  • Coordinate full-cycle recruiting process by reviewing applications, scheduling interviews, booking travel, and ensuring a smooth candidate and hiring manager experience.
  • Process HR information system (Rippling) transactions.
  • Manage xAI’s swag program including procurement, transactions, and delivery.
  • Analyze and report on HR data weekly by updating and maintaining an HR dashboard.
  • Support employees through benefits enrollment, by answering questions and pointing employees to correct resources.
  • Monitor and respond to correspondence in the Datacenter HR slack and email channels.
  • Provide field HR support to Datacenter employees.
  • Audit time and attendance punches and approvals, adherence to policies.
  • Assist with travel and relocation administration and coordination.
  • Shadow and occasionally conduct employee investigations, separations, and exit interviews.
  • Works with team members to coordinate HR related events, such as open enrollment meetings, training programs, or team activities.
  • Assist with HR and recruiting initiatives and projects and implementations as needed.

  • Acute attention to detail and strong multitasking skills
  • Ability to work independently and with little direction
  • Ability to quickly and reasonably prioritize tasks
  • Strong communications skills with the ability to communicate with internal/external customers, vendors, management etc. in both formal and informal situations
  • An analytical mindset that thrives on formulating strategy and presenting data
  • Highly organized with a strong sense of urgency
