Requirements
  • Prior personal injury experience and thorough knowledge of personal injury law case progression are required.
  • Excellent listening skills and the ability to de-escalate volatile situations are required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to interact with emotionally labile individuals, are required.
  • Proven ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with other departments is required.
  • Strong problem identification and problem-solving skills are required.
  • Spanish language proficiency is required.
  • Knowledge of internet, spreadsheet, and word-processing software is required.
Responsibilities
  • Conduct outbound calls to clients who have disengaged from their case to understand their current situation and explore options for continued representation.
  • Offer clients a clear overview of the firm's commitment to their case and the benefits of continuing representation with the firm.
  • Build rapport with clients by actively listening to their concerns and addressing them with empathy and professionalism.
  • Work with the client's current case handler or attorney to obtain case updates and background information before conducting outreach.
  • Identify and escalate unresolved client issues to the appropriate department for resolution.
  • Collaborate with the Client Advocate and Operations team on initiatives and projects aimed at improving the client experience throughout the case lifecycle.
  • Assist the Turn-Down team with additional tasks and projects to support day-to-day operations.
