Requirements
  • 15+ years of experience overseeing regional marketing, primarily outside the U.S., supporting global companies in the entertainment, culture, and fandom space
  • You are always at the forefront of pop culture and up-to-date on the latest trends
  • You have experience in SVOD and theatrical marketing (a plus)
  • You have a background in brand agencies, tech, or entertainment (preferred)
  • You have experience managing teams with diverse functions and skills
  • You have experience working in global organizations or with international markets
  • You are fluent in English and one additional language (French, German, Spanish, Hindi, etc.), both spoken and written
  • You are willing to travel
  • You understand full-funnel marketing across multiple regions
Responsibilities
  • You will create and implement regional marketing strategies to drive traffic, grow brand awareness, and engage communities through social media, fan events, and paid media across Europe, Latin America, the U.S., India, and Southeast Asia.
  • You will align global objectives with impactful regional initiatives, ensuring cohesive branding, efficient asset creation, and partner satisfaction while promoting innovation.
  • You will set long-term regional goals and prioritize initiatives in collaboration with global marketing teams.
  • You will manage OKRs and budgets, ensuring accountability, efficiency, and agreement on goals.
  • You will partner with cross-functional leaders and global VPs to drive individual growth and develop media plans with maximum efficiency, along with go-to-market strategies for emerging markets.
  • You will lead, mentor, and develop regional marketing teams, including publicity, social media, events, and paid media.
  • You will foster collaboration across regional and global teams, aligning efforts with brand management and marketing strategies.
  • You will establish workflows for clear communication and efficient asset production.
  • You will oversee regional IP initiatives, marketing campaigns, and cross-business efforts to drive conversation and earned media reach. You will partner with our VP, GTM to align campaigns with product and growth initiatives, ensuring they cover the entire funnel and deliver results in acquisition, retention, and brand affinity.
  • You will lead agency RFT efforts across media, creative, social, and publicity partners.
  • You will manage regional paid media budgets and campaigns, optimizing buys to target local audiences and maximize ROI.
  • You will collaborate with our VP, Communications on regional publicity efforts and lead event strategy, including premieres and fan events, ensuring strong presence and satisfaction of our Japanese content partners.
  • You will drive localized social media strategies that align with global content and messaging while engaging local audiences across platforms.
  • You will serve as the spokesperson and primary contact for global Sony partners regarding regional theatrical initiatives.
  • You will safeguard brand consistency across regions in collaboration with the global brand team.
