Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in claims administration, preferably within a PEO, insurance company, or a global HR services organization.
  • Strong understanding of workers’ compensation, OSHA reporting and regulations, claims reporting procedures, return to work management.
  • Deep working knowledge of PrismHR configuration and troubleshooting from a workers’ comp perspective strongly preferred.
  • Experience in client-facing roles, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical mindset with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities.
Responsibilities
  • Process and administer Worker’s Compensation claims under the PEO framework, ensuring timely submission, follow-up, and resolution.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for claims-related inquiries from clients and employees, providing guidance on filing procedures, status updates, and dispute resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, including local, state, and international labor laws, while maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of claims and resolutions.
  • Collaborate with insurance carriers, brokers, and legal teams to manage claim investigations, Return to Work and Light-Duty, approvals, mediations, and appeals.
  • Notate claim files and prepare regular reports on claim activity, trends, and outcomes, identifying potential areas for process improvement or risk mitigation.
  • Set up clients and configure positions and worksite employees with Workers’ Compensation carrier information in PrismHR, to include correcting payroll processing errors.
  • Work closely with the payroll, benefits, and tax teams to ensure smooth claim handling and accurate information sharing across Deel’s PEO platform.
  • Continuously assess and improve the claims administration process, leveraging Deel’s platform capabilities and integrating with external systems where necessary.
