Requirements

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the scheduling, coordination, and supervision of crew activities.
  • Supervise and coordinate onsite field operations of RK Industries, LLC, associated subcontractors, and vendors.
  • Provide pertinent and trade-specific information to the general contractor in developing the project schedule.
  • Adhere to the project schedule and orchestrate timely project completion within budget.
  • Cooperate with project management and maintain open communication regarding the project budget, productivity, change orders, quality control, and customer satisfaction.
  • Practice, promote, and develop mentoring across all trades and manpower levels throughout the company.
  • Document and ensure that required corrective measures are addressed and implemented.
  • Develop the master-plan approach for the project.
  • Execute, supervise, and maintain CPMI.
  • Schedule all daily and weekly scope-of-work activities.
  • Requisition, maintain, and account for tools, materials, and equipment.
  • Monitor the progress, performance, and quality of work for all subcontractors and major equipment suppliers.
  • Coordinate required jurisdictional inspections and maintain working relationships with inspectors.
  • Review, analyze, and update labor-hours and job-cost report information with project management weekly.
  • Optimize project opportunities through field and prefabrication planning, computer-aided design and drafting, organizing, and scheduling without compromising quality, safety, or the project completion date.
  • Assist project management with schedule preparation and SIP, including logic and resource or budget allocation, labor resource charts, and required updates.
  • Keep complete project documentation in accordance with RK Mechanical, Inc.'s standard systems and available for inspection.
  • Provide training, mentoring, coaching, and leadership for field personnel and participate in company-provided training.
  • Ensure accurate and complete cost coding of daily time cards; review, sign off, and forward time cards to the corporate office as required.
  • Ensure efficient project closeout, including punch-list completion, owner training and instruction, spare-parts transfer, final cleanup, demobilization, and project-record archiving.
