Requirements
  • 5+ years quota-carrying sales experience at a digital health, health tech or healthcare services business with documented quota achievement.
  • Deep insights into the payer ecosystem, main stakeholders and trends.
  • Strong writing, presentation, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to draft business proposals, build compelling business cases, and present to senior executives.
  • The ability to research, identify, pitch and close new business deals coupled with strong analytical and account management skills is required.
  • High emotional intelligence and experience influencing purchase decisions in collaboration with others.
  • Skills required to build relationships include creative systems thinking, visioning, and executing via collaboration with an extended team to address all customer's needs.
  • A long-term mindset that understands the importance of investing in and adding value to payers early in their lifecycle to earn their trust and loyalty.
  • Bachelor’s or advanced degree.
  • Position may require the ability to travel 25% to 40% of the time, as needed.
Responsibilities
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure, ensuring a strategic approach to each stage of the sales process.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within health plans, including C-level executives, clinical leadership, and IT/operations teams.
  • Work closely with internal teams, including Business Development, Marketing, Implementations, and Product, to ensure that the sales strategy aligns with Curai’s broader goals and that customer needs are met effectively.
  • Track and report on key sales metrics, including pipeline development, deal progression, and revenue impact. Prepare and deliver business reviews to senior leadership, highlighting successes, challenges, and areas for improvement.
  • Meet or exceed targets for the adoption of Curai Health solutions with health plans and TPAs. The Regional Vice President, Sales will be responsible for setting a go-to-market strategy, executing daily to grow the customer base, and ensuring that Curai’s solutions are effectively communicated and positioned in the market.
  • Stay on top of the latest payer trends, especially those related to primary care, product innovation, and AI strategies. Use this knowledge to drive process improvements and influence Curai’s long-term strategy for the health plan market.

  • Relevant healthcare consultative sales experience with payers, and a proven track record of meeting and exceeding program goals and revenue targets.

  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and long-term about the needs of complex businesses, and meaningful ways to influence and engage with health plans.
  • Drive process improvement, work in ambiguous environments, and earn trust across stakeholders and backgrounds.
  • Unafraid to play at the 30,000 foot level and the 1 foot level.
