Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Petroleum Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 7+ years of sales experience in oil and gas, with at least 3 years in digital technologies or industrial software.
  • Deep knowledge of the Oil & Gas value chain and operational workflows (e.g., production, SCADA, analytics, asset performance).
  • Strong understanding of digital tools such as cloud platforms (Azure, AWS), data management systems, predictive analytics, and industrial automation.
  • Proven success in technical sales, solution selling, and value-based selling approaches.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Domestic travel up to 30%.
Responsibilities
  • Closely align with the Sales Team who would be responsible for lead generation and then work with the Technical Sales Team to progress leads.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations to help progress leads through contract closure for digital software, hardware products and technology services.
  • Understand customer challenges in production, asset integrity, operations, and optimization—and position the company’s digital solutions to address these needs.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships with key decision-makers, influencers, and technical stakeholders.
  • Develop tailored proposals, presentations, and demos in collaboration with technical and product management teams.
  • Collaborate with product management, engineering, and marketing to relay market feedback and influence roadmap priorities.
  • Ability to use CRM tools (i.e Salesforce.com) for sales reporting.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, industry conferences, and client events.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with digital twins, edge computing, or AI/ML applications in oil and gas.
  • Familiarity with common industry platforms (e.g., OSIsoft PI, CygNet, Ignition, AVEVA, AspenTech, etc.).
  • Strong customer-centric mindset and a consultative sales approach.
