Requirements
  • Strong understanding of software development processes, DevOps, and agile methodologies.
  • Min 8 years of experience in Legal Technology systems such as Matter Management, Litigation Tracking, eBilling, eDiscovery, and IP Management.
  • Experience in a leadership role managing engineers and product owners with a focus on mentoring and team development.
  • Proven track record as an IC with a focus on technical design and implementation.
  • Engineering design expertise in software, systems, and infrastructure.
Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and implement end-to-end solutions for Legal & Public Safety technology systems.
  • Provide hands-on contributions to architecture, code reviews, and system design.
  • Drive adoption of modern technologies and best practices, improving system performance and scalability.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment between technical execution and business priorities.
  • Own and maintain technical roadmaps and ensure delivery of high-quality, scalable solutions.
  • Develop and track metrics for strategic initiatives, platform performance, and QA automation.
  • Oversee infrastructure and application architecture, ensuring compliance with best-fit technologies.
  • Solve complex technical problems and ensure optimal system reliability.
  • Manage and mentor a small team of engineers, focusing on skill development and impact.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, learning, and accountability.
  • Conduct regular check-ins to support team growth and align on goals.
  • Lead by example, encouraging risk-taking and enabling teams to learn from failures.
  • Build trusted partnerships with business users, architects, and domain experts.
  • Communicate progress, challenges, and technical decisions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
