Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Physics, or Material Science
  • Experience working with optical fibers and photonic integrated circuits
  • 4+ years of experience with optical measurements and characterization of on-chip photonic components
Responsibilities
  • Define figures of merit to trace the performance of the optical package
  • Develop a standard validation process to characterize the performance of fiber-coupled photonic chip packages
  • Develop streamlined methods to trace the yield and reliability of fiber-coupled photonic chip packages
  • Collaborate with the design and experimental teams across the company to learn from current best known methods
  • Provide feedback to the optical packaging and design
