- Complete required paperwork using fleet maintenance software programs to document repairs, parts usage, and repair times
- Review, complete, or assign repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports
- Conduct safety checks on vehicles and equipment
- Perform service calls for emergency breakdowns
- Maintain a clean, safe work environment in compliance with corporate and OSHA standards
- Experience with DPF Regeneration systems on Cummins and Mack trucks

Waste Connections has appointed Daniel L. Florness to its board of directors, effective 1 April 2026. Florness, 62, currently serves as chief executive officer of Fastenal Company, a position he has held since 2016. He previously served in various leadership roles at Fastenal, including chief financial officer from 1996 to 2002, and worked as a senior manager at KPMG from 1986 to 1996. Florness will step down from his role as Fastenal's CEO and resign from its board on 16 July 2026.
