Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and a driving record that aligns with the company's safety standards.
  • Must complete a satisfactory background check and drug screening.
  • Must be able to work nights and weekends as needed.
  • Must be able to accurately diagnose and troubleshoot automotive, electrical, installation, and mechanical issues; this background or experience is a plus.
  • Must be able to work independently.
  • Must hold proper certifications or licensing as required by the state.
  • Must demonstrate a high level of accuracy and strong attention to detail.
  • Must have interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Must maintain a good driving record.
  • Must be able to regularly lift or move up to 50 pounds, frequently lift or move up to 100 pounds, and occasionally lift or move more than 100 pounds with assistance.
Responsibilities
  • Perform preventive maintenance on commercial kitchen cooking, refrigeration, and heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment.
  • Complete required paperwork, including parts orders, work orders, and timesheets, in a timely manner.
  • Communicate repair-status updates to customers and the branch office.
  • Use appropriate hand tools and power tools for repairs.
  • Audit truck stock to ensure required parts are stocked.
  • Maintain the service vehicle, tools, and uniforms consistently with company standards and safety requirements.
  • Work Monday through Thursday from 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
  • Travel nightly to work-site locations, with possible weekend and daily assignments.
  • Perform duties involving repeated bending, twisting, stooping, kneeling, and climbing ladders.
  • Work around hot grease from fryers and in high-temperature environments such as overheated kitchens and rooftops.
