Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5–8 years of progressive experience in hotel sales or hospitality business development.
  • Proven expertise in corporate sales, MICE, banquet sales, and leisure segments.
  • Demonstrated ability to consistently achieve and exceed sales targets and develop new business opportunities.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong networking and relationship-building abilities with established connections in the hospitality and travel trade sectors.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct market analysis, competitive intelligence, and identify emerging business opportunities.
  • Proven experience in account management and client retention strategies for key corporate and leisure accounts.
  • Leadership and mentoring capabilities with experience in training and developing junior sales team members.
  • Knowledge of hospitality industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive positioning strategies.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales plans to achieve assigned revenue targets and market penetration goals.
  • Generate new business opportunities from corporate, leisure, MICE, travel trade, and social segments through proactive business development.
  • Conduct sales calls, client meetings, presentations, and property visits to promote hotel facilities, services, and unique value propositions.
  • Identify potential markets and develop targeted strategies to increase market share and competitive positioning.
  • Manage sales leads, follow-ups, proposals, negotiations, and contract closures to ensure successful deal completion.
  • Achieve monthly and annual room revenue, banquet, and event sales targets while maintaining profitability margins.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, corporate clients, and travel partners to ensure client retention and repeat business.
  • Conduct market analysis and competitive intelligence to identify emerging opportunities and industry trends affecting the hotel's market position.
  • Utilize CRM systems to track sales activities, manage client databases, and generate performance reports for management review.
  • Collaborate with the marketing, operations, and front office departments to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Mentor and support junior sales team members, providing guidance on sales techniques, client management, and revenue optimization strategies.
  • Attend industry events, networking functions, and trade shows to build relationships and promote the hotel's offerings within the hospitality market.
