Search for Common Ground Is the world’s largest peacebuilding organization with offices in over 30 countries and a media reach of roughly 40 million people. It is an international NGO that works to end violent conflict and build healthy, safe, and just societies and was nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize in 2018 for its groundbreaking work around the world.
Team Summary
The Marketing Department works to mainstream peacebuilding and positions Search for Common Ground as the leader/leading partner in transforming violent conflict into peace and stability so more people can thrive. Marketing also leads the brand development and brand management efforts of the entire organization.
Position Summary
The Digital Asset Officer is responsible for acquiring, cataloging, managing, and protecting Search for Common Ground’s digital assets. You serve as our librarian and curator.
Responsibilities
- Contributes to key marketing initiatives, including but not limited to brand development, events, advertising, and cause marketing
- Contributes to the development of key communications for target audiences
- Serves at the intersection where people and digital tools come together
Contributions
- Contributes to awareness raising efforts through organic and paid media
- Contributes to brand development initiatives and brand infusion across the organization
- Works with other members of the Marketing team to ensure success of marketing efforts
- Attends and contributes to meetings with internal and external stakeholders
- Contributes to the department’s annual planning processes
- Infuses organizational values into all work
- Initiates internal meetings to ensure adequate information-sharing and coordination
- Develops relationships with vendors and external stakeholders
- Creates, tests, documents, maintains and improves a data repository system and workflows
- Tracks user adoption trends as well as consumer engagement external to the organization
- Tracks and validates metadata, work on taxonomy or tagging, and engages in training with end users, in addition to potentially managing video or other graphics files on a website
- Monitors the security of files, along with developing security policies to keep data safe
- Other duties that are broadly in line with the above key contributions as assigned.

Education and Experience
Typically BS/BA with minimum 3 years’ experience.
