Requirements
  • Seven (7) or more years minimum experience of banking, sales, or issuer relations experience in Private Placement markets; with a demonstrated ability to bring existing relationships to KBRA as well as foster new strong client relationships, (public market focus). A project finance, energy, renewable and/or infrastructure background is preferred.
  • Two (2) or more years of credit analysis experience is a positive.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business management, economics or finance.
  • Excellent computer skills including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word; Bloomberg/Salesforce knowledge a plus.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills are essential.
  • Assertive, organized, detailed oriented, creative, energetic and resourceful.
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently, as well as work closely with partners in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute target lists and strategies for outreach to issuers and their intermediaries within Private Placement Market and Project Finance and Infrastructure sector
  • Initiate and coordinate outreach and relationship building across the Private Placement ecosystem, including coverage of bankers, Debt Capital Markets (DCM), Syndicate, and Sales desks
  • Work and coordinate closely with colleagues in Business Development, KBRA’s Investor Relations team, and act as a liaison with the Project Finance and Infrastructure ratings team
  • Conduct market research projects to aid the development of sales efforts and strategies.
  • Be able to understand and discuss the high-level credit side of debt transactions
  • Assist in the preparation and documentation of transactional contracts for client onboarding
  • Organize and track the stages of business transactions, while working closely with both the analytic and commercial teams, as well as Senior Management
  • Input and maintain client and transaction details in CRM system and other databases.
  • Monitor and maintain historical transactional data for marketing graphs and statistics
  • Coordinate with Legal and Compliance teams to meet regulatory requirements
  • Attend related conferences to gather market intelligence and build relationships with current and potential clients
