The service relies on partnerships with communities and health systems, with crews trained to handle complex in-flight medical needs such as ventilators and ECMO, plus options like the PHI Cares membership to cover out-of-pocket costs and tools like FlyPHI and Family Trax for requesting and tracking transports. Its goal is to deliver dependable life-saving air medical transport, expand access, and reduce financial barriers through care programs and outreach.
