InterSystems honored with four 2026 Best in KLAS Awards. Boston-(ANTARA/Business Wire)-InterSystems, a creative data technology provider powering more than one billion health records globally, today announced it has received four Global 2026 Best in KLAS awards. The company earned a #1 ranking for Acute Care EHR in Asia, Oceania, and France, as well as for Shared Care Records in Europe. Best in KLAS is KLAS Research's annual recognition of top-performing healthcare technology and services solutions, based entirely on feedback from healthcare provider organizations. Awards are given within defined software and services market segments evaluated by KLAS Research using a standardized methodology that reflects customer experience and performance. In addition to U.S. market segments, KLAS also recognizes top-performing solutions through its Global (Non-U.S.) Best in KLAS Awards, which are based on feedback from healthcare organizations outside the United States and evaluated using the same research framework. InterSystems was honored with four 2026 Global Best in KLAS awards: * InterSystems TrakCare(R) received three separate Best in KLAS designations for Acute Care EHR in France, Asia, and Oceania, a rating that reflects strong feedback from healthcare organizations within each of these markets. * Shared Care Records (Europe): InterSystems HealthShare(R) was recognized as Best in KLAS for Shared Care Records in Europe for the third consecutive year, following prior wins in 2024 and 2025, based on feedback from healthcare organizations across the region. "At InterSystems, our mission has always been to build solutions as a joint effort with real end users on their real problems and opportunities in their world. Receiving four Best in KLAS awards is incredibly validating because these honors aren't decided by a panel of judges - they come directly from the feedback of the clinicians and healthcare leaders who use our technology every day," said Don Woodlock, President of InterSystems. "These awards are a testament to our customers' partnership and our team's dedication to technical excellence and customer success." "The Best in KLAS awards recognize the vendors who consistently deliver excellence through partnership with healthcare organizations. Winning this award means customers trust you to help them succeed in our rapidly changing healthcare landscape. This means helping them to improve patient care, achieve better outcomes, and find true ROI. We're honored to amplify the voice of providers and payers at KLAS, and to celebrate those vendors who turn feedback into action," said Adam Gale, CEO, KLAS Research. Royal Orthopaedic Hospital selects InterSystems as EPR supplier

Royal Orthopaedic Hospital selects InterSystems as EPR supplier. The Royal Orthopaedic Hospital (Credit: The Royal Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Foundation Trust) * The Royal Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Foundation Trust has selected InterSystems as its EPR supplier * It is one of the final trusts without an EPR under NHS England's Frontline Digitisation programme * The EPR programme is expected to begin in 2026 The Royal Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Foundation Trust (ROH) has selected InterSystems as its electronic patient record (EPR) supplier. ROH is one of the last remaining trusts without an EPR under NHS England's £2bn Frontline Digitisation programme, which aims to ensure that every provider meets a core level of digitisation by March 2026. The trust said that implementation planning is underway with the EPR programme planned for 2026. Matthew Hartland, chief executive at ROH, said: "Selecting InterSystems as its EPR partner is an exciting step forward for its hospital. This partnership will give its teams the digital tools to enhance the outstanding care they deliver. "We're excited about the future and the potential a new EPR offers us to continue improving how we care for people." As the EPR is embedded, paper-based notes and separate databases will progressively be replaced by secure digital records, giving clinicians access to complete patient histories, with the aim of reducing administrative burden and enabling more efficient care. The trust said that procurement process involved engagement with hospital staff, including clinicians who participated in demonstrations, workshops and evaluations to help identify the system best suited to the needs of ROH's patients and staff. Colin Henderson, country manager at InterSystems UKI, said: "Digital Health is delighted to be partnering with ROH on this important phase of their digital journey. "The move to InterSystems TrakCare EPR will help improve information access and exchange and will provide a more harmonised experience for clinical and administrative users. "We look forward to working closely with the ROH to unlock the full potential of their new EPR and help drive meaningful improvements in patient outcomes and operational efficiencies." ROH has a track record of innovation, from pioneering robotic-assisted joint replacements to leading research in regenerative medicine and delivering self-management tools via digital platforms. In February 2024, Gavin Newman, former head of digital transformation at ROH, told Digital Health News that "the dream of the future would be to have a single source of truth in a system from the first referral through to discharge and through to follow-up care", adding "an EPR would provide that for us". The trust has also been working with London-based start-up VitVio to enhance the safety and efficiency of surgical procedures through a pilot programme, launched in January 2025, to install cameras and sensors in operating theatres which integrate with the hospital's existing health information systems. Vivtio's AI algorithms track and analyse aspects of the surgical procedure from tool usage and surgical stages to adherence to safety protocols. Meanwhile, other sites to deploy the InterSystems TrakCare EPR include North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust and Dublin's National Rehabilitation Hospital. In May 2025, NHSE awarded a £13.3m 'tiger teams' contract to KPMG to support trusts which are expected to miss the 2026 government EPR target, including Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust; Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching NHS Hospitals FT; Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS FT; Stockport NHS FT; NHS University Hospitals Liverpool Group and University Hospitals Sussex NHS FT.
