Summary

The Civil & Structure Engineering Team Lead will be responsible for leading the Civil & Structure studies from FEL 2 to EXE phases. This role involves overseeing external engineering companies to ensure design quality and cost-effective execution, while meeting deliverable deadlines. The Team Lead will also perform assessments of existing structures and collaborate with internal clients to develop strategic maintenance and repair plans.

Responsibilities

Lead engineering activities for various scopes, including earthworks, roads, civil works, and structural steel works.
Prepare and issue project documents in a timely manner.
Coordinate with project teams, suppliers, and external engineering companies.
Review and follow up on deliverables, planning, and construction sequences from engineering contractors.
Develop sustainable and efficient solutions and carry out study works autonomously.
Stay updated with standards, guidelines, and new techniques and developments in the CSE discipline.

Required Skills

Bachelor's degree in civil engineering (master's degree preferred).
Relevant work experience in the design of concrete and steel structures, with industrial project experience considered an advantage.
Knowledge of civil and structural design software.
Preferred bilingual in English and Spanish/French.
Experience working in a multidisciplinary team environment.
Demonstrated leadership and initiative in guiding project teams and taking ownership of outcomes.
Strong collaboration and communication skills to foster teamwork across disciplines and with external partners.
Excellent problem-solving and optimization skills to propose innovative solutions and seek continuous improvements.
Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently, adhere to schedules and budgets, and ensure the integrity of project deliverables.
