Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree (Business, Social Sciences, Statistics, Math, Physics, Engineering, or related field)

  • 3+ years of experience in an operations position in a fast-paced/startup/tech/consulting environment
  • Experience in aerospace, automotive, consumer electronics, medical devices, or robotics industries
  • Demonstrated ability working independently and in large multidisciplinary teams
  • Experience working with remote teams
  • Understanding of technical requirements, engineering projects, and working with engineering teams
  • Experience working with legal contracts, including drafting, negotiation, and amending standard templates
  • Experience with Quickbooks, Confluence, Jira, Copper, or other CRM, ATS, or project management tools
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., C++, Python, R, etc.)
  • Ability to travel to our headquarters in El Segundo, CA
  • Applicant must be willing to work 40 hours a week on-site in Redmond, Washington, USA
  • Applicant must be eligible to work on ITAR projects

Responsibilities
  • Build, deploy, and maintain business operations systems, infrastructure, and special projects for the Seattle office
  • Coordinate with the Purchasing team on purchasing reconciliation and on interfacing with local vendors
  • Coordinate with Business Development teams for proposals and contracts
  • Coordinate with Project Management teams to deploy project infrastructure including project management tools, resource projections, hours reporting
  • Coordinate with the Finance team and the Seattle Director to develop and maintain KPIs and reports relevant to the Seattle office
  • Coordinate with the IT team to maintain critical on-site IT systems
  • Maintain high-level context about SOE and our projects in order to be knowledgeable when interfacing with external parties
  • Maintain Seattle area facilitates including coordinating maintenance, repairs, and upgrades of building infrastructure
  • Support Human Resources in the Seattle area including on-boarding of new employees
  • Plan and coordinate office wide events
