The JM Family College Internship program is designed to create an opportunity for college students to have meaningful work experiences that tie to their programs of study. As part of this program, you will actively contribute to your team’s success, learn about JM Family’s companies and culture while obtaining new skills through learning opportunities, networking events and much more.
The ideal candidate will be available to work full time hours during the Summer Internship Program (May 27, 2025 - August 1, 2025).
Interns will engage in meaningful work and gain insights into specific projects or tasks, providing hands-on experience, and contributing to various department initiatives. They will learn about JM Family’s culture including our core values: Consideration, Cooperation, Communication, Innovation and Accountability. These core values are part of our keys to success and the skills that embody these values are what drives our success as an organization.
This internship supports the Technical Operations Center’s Field Technical and Technical Training teams to develop associates for their future in the field.
Responsibilities:
FTS (Field Technical Specialists):
Provide Vehicle Technical Support for Southeast Toyota (SET) Dealer Technicians
Engage Dealers in feedback on Product Quality
Regional Support with Customer Resolution cases.
Assist the SET District Field Team with the Dealer’s repair process and protocols.
Aid in Technician Recruitment, Growth & Mentorship
TTS (Technical Training Specialist):
Provide Technical Training for SET Dealer Technicians
Facilitate Technician Skill Level Guidance for SET Dealers
Aid in Technician Recruitment, Growth & Mentorship
Assist in Course Development & Curriculum Design
Qualifications:
Must be a minimum of 18 years old at the start of the program
Actively enrolled in a bachelor’s degree-seeking program at an accredited college or University with a focus in Automotive Technology
Our ideal candidate will be available to work on-site in Jacksonville, FL, at the Technical Operations Center
Minimum completion of at least two semester classes; relevant and completed coursework in automotive diagnostics, advanced drivability, alternative fuels, and dealership management.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
