Join Aprio’s Tax team and you will help clients maximize their opportunities. Aprio, LLP is a progressive, fast-growing firm looking for a Senior or Experienced Tax Associate to join their dynamic team.
Position Responsibilities:
- Apply strong technical tax accounting knowledge of partnerships, corporations, s-corporations on consulting and compliance engagements
- Communicate with clients to discuss tax accounting matters
- Meet client service expectations, adhering to time budgets and maintaining positive client communications.
- Gain an understanding of Firm policies, procedures, and professional standards through observation/inquiry and adhere to them
- Represent Aprio in a favorable and professional manner
- Develop initiative, interpersonal skills, and practical application of technical knowledge
- Perform other related duties assigned by immediate supervisor and other firm management as required
- Respect confidentiality of Aprio and Aprio client information
- Overtime is required during tax season (January through April) and occasionally throughout the remainder of the year
- Deliver highest level of customer service to clients, including those at the executive level
- Tax planning and multi-state taxation
Qualifications:
- Recent work experience with an accounting firm
- 2-5 years of experience in federal tax consulting and/or compliance experience in public accounting
- Experience in Corporate, S-Corp. and/or Partnership returns
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Computer expertise including knowledge of tax software and technology
- 4 year bachelors degree in Accounting
- Masters degree in taxation preferred
- Licensed CPA preferred
