WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for a superstar Assistant Associate (Assistant Account Executive) to play an integral role in the day-to-day operations for the client’s arts and theatre sponsorship program, primarily focused on negotiating presale, allotment and experiential activations with Broadway, off-Broadway, and institutional theatre partners. The ideal candidate will have experience working within the theatre industry, with firsthand knowledge of the theatrical lifecycle (though not required), and a passion for the arts. The Assistant Associate should be highly organized, driven, flexible, and have the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL DO (RESPONSIBILITIES)
- Provide general support (project and administrative) to business leadership team in the execution of partnerships with arts and theatre organizations, primarily focused on Broadway.
- Ensure all projects are executed according to agency standards within established budgets and timeframes
- Collaborate with the team to leverage partner sponsorship assets to support experiential activations that bring to life this benefits program “beyond the stage”
- Manage project workstreams (and/or small projects) with manager oversight; keeping team informed of project status
- Liaise with Momentum’s internal Ticketing and Communications team to ensure all program elements are properly programmed, QAed, and regularly marketed
- Drive invoicing & payment processes for clients, vendors, and marketing partners
- Develop understanding of client’s business and objectives
- Support with day-to-day client contact as directed by manager; including communication around assigned workstreams, meeting agendas and call recaps
- Foster relationships and garner an understanding of roles across internal agency teams and agency partners
- Participate in internal briefings, strategy development and creative assessment
- Use agency tools as necessary for day-to-day project needs (i.e. status reports, conference reports, creative briefs)
- Facilitate communication with and proposal requests from external partners/vendors
- Assist with the estimating/billing process
- Support on-site at key events, including some weekends
- Set priorities, demonstrate proactivity, and assume a leadership role for assigned work
- Understand tight deadlines and maintain composure in all scenarios
- Build full knowledge of agency’s offerings, mission and vision

HERE’S WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR (QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS)
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising or Communications preferred
- Strong computer skills – MS Office (including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word) and Google Suite
- Solid communication skills – written and verbal
- Strong passion for the Arts, Theater, Broadway and Music and Entertainment
- Experience in digital/virtual and/or experiential marketing
- Self-motivated, enthusiastic, resourceful and solution-oriented
- Polished, professional demeanor
- Marketing related internship preferred
- You’re a quick learner and you play well with others, of all kinds

SALARY RANGE
The salary range for this position is $45,000 to $50,000. Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position; market considerations; location and region; budgetary considerations; tenure and standing with the company (applicable to current employees); as well as the employee’s/applicant’s background, pertinent experience, and qualifications.
