Our Dallas office is centrally located within the Metroplex, making it convenient and easily accessible for our team members from across the Dallas-Fort Worth Area.
About The Team
The Consumer Products team at Crunchyroll is dedicated to bringing outstanding experiences, products, and game collaborations to anime fans around the world! We license anime franchises to third-party companies to launch products across all categories from toys & games, fashion, and home decor to experiences and digital games and goods. The team is made up of pop culture fans who love bringing brands to life through innovative products and experiences, retail and digital marketing activations, and gaming collaborations. We are a tenacious, fun, and hardworking group!
About You:
- 2-3 years of professional work experience
- Strong communication skills, written and spoken
- Strong project management, initiative, and follow-through skills
- Ability to demonstrate time management and prioritization skills
- Ability to be creative and apply critical thinking to provide solutions
- Demonstrates strong work ethic
- Demonstrates close attention to detail
- Computer Proficiency: Microsoft Suite and/or Google Suite
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
Pluses
- Japanese language proficiency
- Licensing approvals experience
- Experience with anime and/or gaming industry
- Ability to influence and persuade clients and partners
- Experience working at an entertainment company
- Experience with approvals software (i.e. MediaBox)
- Photoshop / Illustrator proficiency
A day in the life of our Product Development Specialist:
- Process product, packaging, and marketing approvals (physical and digital)
- Ensure product lines are on-time and meeting deadlines
- Build and maintain IP-specific style guides / usage guides
- Daily communication with domestic and international teams
- Advocating for the needs of and educating Licensee partners
- Simple data curation and interpretation (approval rates, speed, etc.)
- Simple artwork curation (collecting, organizing, and commissioning, etc.)
- Take on additional projects as requested
