  • Bachelor's Degree and 5 years or Associate Degree and 7 years or Master's Degree and 3 years or High School Diploma/GED and 9 years' relevant experience.

  • Overall experience should include at least five (5) years of experience in all of the following: Technical Architecture Framework for Information Management (TAFIM) compliance; Digital Mission Engineering Environment; Systems modeling language; Developing architecture artifacts per industry standards; Aligning Enterprise Architecture activities.
Responsibilities
  • Work as a contributing member of the NEC team supporting the modification, upgrade, evolution, and modernization of existing Nuclear C3 systems.
  • Develop and maintain architecture products, such as system and operational views describing the Nuclear C3 system-of-systems.
  • Produce and publish baseline and incremental NC3 system-of-systems architecture products using digital engineering tools such as Cameo.
  • Advise the government with recommendations to enhance the NC3 system-of-systems and associated NC3 capabilities.
  • Work alongside other Architects with NC3 Enterprise engineering subject matter expertise to support data-driven enterprise decision making.
  • Incorporate architecture artifacts into presentations (e.g., PowerPoint) designed to support senior leader decision making.

  • Experience working with senior Nuclear C3 community stakeholders such as NEC, USSTRATCOM, the Joint Staff, and OSD.
  • Understanding of, and/or experience, with operations and technical characteristics of military satellite and terrestrial communications systems.
  • Ability to apply system engineering techniques and/or system architecture concepts to secure and survivable communication systems.
  • Experience conducting architecture/performance trade-off analysis, and engineering design of a system-of-systems.
